Required Documents

  • Valid Indian driving licence (permanent licence — a learner’s licence is not sufficient).
  • Valid Indian passport (copy of the first and last pages).
  • Valid visa of the country of travel, where applicable.
  • Air ticket / travel itinerary copy, where required by the RTO.
  • Medical certificate (Form 1A) signed by a registered medical practitioner, where required.
  • Recent passport-size photographs and specimen signature.
  • Proof of current address, if different from the address on the driving licence.
  • Application in Form 4A, prepared and submitted on the official Government system with the applicant’s approval.
  • Copy of the earlier IDP, when applying for a fresh IDP for another trip.
  • FIR / lost report, for a duplicate IDP in case of loss or theft, where required.

Fees

Platform Fee — for administrative facilitation & Lawyer coordination
What the Platform Fee covers: This is the Company’s fee for administrative case-management, Lawyer availability coordination, document organisation support, scheduling, reminders, and follow-up. It does not include legal advice, submission of any RTO application, or any Government fee.

Lawyer’s Professional Fee: Any fee charged by the independent Lawyer for international driving license consultation, documentation, or other legal services is entirely separate and is payable directly to the Lawyer under the Lawyer’s own terms.

Government / RTO Fee: The applicable statutory fee payable to the Licensing Authority (RTO) through the official Parivahan / Sarathi system is separate and is prescribed for the issue of an International Driving Permit under the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and applicable State rules.

Important: The Platform Fee of ₹2,250 is not the complete cost of obtaining an international driving license. It does not include the Lawyer’s professional fee, the Government / RTO fee, or any other charges related to your international driving license matter. All such costs are additional and separate.

Additional / Separate Services

The following services are not covered under the Platform Fee or the initial Lawyer consultation arrangement and are charged separately by the Lawyer:

  • Re-application fees where an application is rejected for missing or invalid documents.
  • Matters relating to suspension, disqualification or revocation of an international driving license, and appeals to the appellate authority.
  • Traffic challans, compounding of offences, and representation before any court or authority.
  • Conversion of a foreign international driving license, endorsements (e.g. hazardous goods) and transport-vehicle badges.
  • Additional applications beyond the initial service request (e.g. a fresh IDP for a later trip, or IDPs for family members).
  • Any other legal or professional service not covered in the initial scope.
